Career Overview

Ms. Chuck-Habib has served as an international legal consultant in the Abu Dhabi office of the legal and business consultancy firm established by HLS Attorneys’ Managing Partner, Mr. John Habib. Ms. Chuck-Habib also served as the sole In-House Counsel for a prominent Emirati-owned holding company which has diverse commercial and industrial activities and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi.

Ms. Chuck-Habib has significant experience in handling offshore entity formation matters, particularly involving the British Virgin Islands, Panama and the U.A.E.’s numerous “free zone” jurisdictions, and has managed complex transactions for various international entities and high net-worth individuals. Additionally, Ms. Chuck-Habib has extensive dispute resolution experience and routinely supervises arbitration and litigation matters in the U.A.E. and across Europe.

Education and Bar Admission

Ms. Chuck-Habib received her undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and her Bachelors in Law from Keele University in Staffordshire, UK in 2005, and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London in 2006 and was called to the bar by the Honorable Society of Gray’s Inn, and has been an active member of the New York State Bar since being admitted in 2010.

Ms. Chuck was an active member in U.A.E.-based trade associations and business groups, including memberships in the Legal Affairs Committee of AmCham Abu Dhabi, and the Canadian Business Council of Abu Dhabi where she served as Board Secretary. She is natively fluent in English, Spanish and French.
