Career Overview

I am a New York barred attorney specializing in providing general counsel services to entities and individuals on an as-needed or project basis. I have broad corporate and commercial law experience enabling me to quickly issue spot and provide practical solutions to clients. Situations are often  not confined to the legal arena and the complete solution may require the input of other professionals, and working with professionals such as accountants, compliance personnel and IT experts to deliver the best solution is something I do routinely.

I previously served as an international legal consultant in an Abu Dhabi  legal consultancy firm and also served as the sole In-House Counsel for a prominent Emirati-owned holding company which has diverse commercial and industrial activities and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi.

Education and Bar Admission

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and my Bachelors in Law from Keele University in Staffordshire, UK in 2005. I completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London in 2006 and was called to the bar by the Honorable Society of Gray’s Inn, and I have been an active member of the New York State Bar since being admitted in 2010.

I was an active member in U.A.E.-based trade associations and business groups, including memberships in the Legal Affairs Committee of AmCham Abu Dhabi, and the Canadian Business Council of Abu Dhabi where she served as Board Secretary.
